To honor veterans in the Capital Region, a partnership between Albany County and MVP Health Care was created to create a free festival with music, craft beer, food and vendor booths. Local country group Skeeter Creek will start the music performances, followed by Darryl Worley with songs like “Have You Forgotten.” The festival will end with special headliner, Craig Morgan, a veteran and current Army Reserve soldier himself, with songs like “Redneck Yacht Club” and “International Harvester.”

“It is important to show our gratitude to those who have served this country. Serving comes with great sacrifice and great risk, and hosting events to celebrate our Veterans is a small way to show appreciation for their courage and dedication,” County Executive Daniel McCoy said. “The Red White and Brew Festival is an opportunity for Veterans and families to enjoy good company, food, and music. The Innovation Partnership between Albany County and MVP Health Care exists to improve the overall health and vitality of the community. Hosting celebrations and festivals like this are important for our County to bring individuals and communities together.”

According to MVP Health Care’s Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Deborah Brundage, the event is a celebration of veterans and their sacrifices. Both MVP Health Care and Albany County are trying to create a community that both recognizes and honors its veterans.

“We are proud to support this year’s festival dedicated to our veterans,” Brundage said. “This event is a celebration of their sacrifice, and we are committed to showing our deep appreciation for their service. At MVP Health Care, we believe that health is not confined to clinical settings alone. As a community partner, we actively invest in initiatives that promote well-being, foster social connections, and enhance quality of life. Through music and community, we aim to create a memorable experience that recognizes and honors our veterans’ contributions to our country.”

Local veterans and those who have served will be celebrated and honored throughout the day. For more information on the festival, visit www.mvparena.com .
