    Water shut off in Bennington on Wednesday

    BENNINGTON, Vt. ( NEWS10 ) — The Town of Bennington, Vermont has announced that there will be a temporary water shut-off on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The town is replacing the main water valve on Lafayette Street.

    The following streets will be affected by the water shut-off:

    • Lafayette Street
    • Booth Terrace
    • Imperial Avenue
    • Hillside Street
    • Hamlin Avenue
    • Grandview Street
    • Silver Street to Coulter Street
    • Union Street to Eden Way

    The town advises that when the water service is restored to flush the cold water until it clears if there is dirty water. Anyone in need of further assistance should contact the water department at (802) 442-1037.
