    ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — The weekend is almost here! From fairs to the Troy Pig Out to Cage the Elephant at SPAC, there are quite a few things happening on August 16, 17, and 18.

    New tenant set for closing eatery space in Colonie

    Saturday, August 17

    • Altamont Fair , Route 146 and Arlington Street in Altamont, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
    • Vermont State Fair , 175 South Main Street in Rutland, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
    • Mayfield Bannertown Fair , North School Street in Mayfield, 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.
    • Racing at the Saratoga Race Course
    • Disney’s The Lion King in Concert with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, 7:30 p.m. You can buy tickets on the SPAC website .
    • Bianca Del Rio, Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga Springs, 7:30 p.m. You can buy tickets on the UPH website .
    • Culturefest, Jerry Burrell Park in Schenectady, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
    • Free Family Circus Day, Prospect Park in Troy, starts at 1 p.m. Free.
    • NYS Baseball Hall of Fame Tournament, Parkhurst Field in Gloversville, starts at 9 a.m.
    • Touch-a-Truck and Safety Fair, Blenheim-Gilboa Visitors Center, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    • Downtown Bennington Food Truck Festival, along Pleasant and School Streets in Bennington, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
    • Rhynhart-Hellwitz Duo, Troy Savings Bank Music Hall courtyard, 6 p.m. Free.
    • Sunflower & Sangria Festival, Meadowbrook Farm Catskills in Leeds, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
    • Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany, 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. You can buy tickets on theREP website .
    • Dinos Alive Immersive Experience , Armory Studios in Schenectady, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can visit the Fever website to get tickets.

    • Ballston Spa’s Family Fun Day, Wiswall Park in Ballston Spa, 10.m. to 5 p.m. with a concert at 6 p.m. Special quiet play hours are from 10 a.m. to noon.
    • New Scotland Community Day, Jim Nichols Town Park in Voorheesville, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    • Albany County Farmers Market , MVP Arena in Albany, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    • Battle Day Parade, Main Street in Bennington, 12:30 p.m.
