Police activity closes lanes on I-787 in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — I-787 northbound near Exit 5 in Albany remains closed Thursday for a police investigation.

Around 4:20 p.m., police were called for reports of a person jumping off the Patroon Island Bridge. A deceased person was found below the bridge on I-787.

Northbound lanes on 787 remain closed. Southbound lanes have reopened. An identity on the deceased is not being released at this time.
