National Grid Scholarship awardees honored

TROY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — The first six recipients of the National Grid Electric Worker Scholarship were honored on Thursday. The scholarship will allow the students to pursue their education at Hudson Valley Community College during the 2024-2025 academic school year.

In addition to $9,000 in scholarship funds per student, recipients will receive one-on-one mentoring from National Grid electric workers, who will share career advice and guidance on school work if needed.
