Erie County man sentenced in Saratoga County for child sex abuse

BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — A man charged with child sex abuse in Saratoga County was sentenced. John Donaldson , 69, was arrested in July 2023 and was accused of having sexual contact with a child less than 11 years old.

He was found in Lackawanna and arrested. He was charged with first degree sexual abuse.

He was sentenced to four years in jail and 10 years probation.
