    Pittsfield seeking public input for future of city parks

    PITTSFIELD, Mass. ( NEWS10 ) — The City of Pittsfield will host a public forum to gather input regarding the ongoing update to the city’s open space and recreation plan. The meeting, held by the city’s Community Development Department, will be Wednesday, August 28, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at City Hall, located at 70 Allen Street in the Council Chambers.

    City leaders will look to learn more about the goals and objectives of park users and stakeholder groups. All residents interested in local parks, open spaces, and recreation issues are encouraged to participate.
