New café opens in Delmar’s Delaware Plaza

DELMAR, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Delaware Café has opened in Delaware Plaza in Delmar. The eatery officially announced its opening on Wednesday, August 14.

The café serves breakfast and lunch staples including eggs, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, waffles, French toast, sandwiches, burgers, and Greek specialties such as pita sandwiches and platters. You can view the full menu on the Delaware Café website .

Delaware Café is open to 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Monday. The eatery is in the former Delmar Bistro space , which closed in April 2023 after eight years.

Delaware Plaza is located at 180 Delaware Avenue. Uncommon Grounds is also expected to open a new location in the former Bruegger’s Bagels space in the plaza.
