Hops and Harvest Festival returning to Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — The annual Hops and Harvest Festival will be returning to Albany’s Empire State Plaza on September 18. Hosted by the New York State Office of General Services, the event will run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The yearly festival kicks off fall by highlighting New York’s celebrated harvest season and showcasing some of the state’s beloved breweries. Attendees can enjoy a wide variety of autumnal food and beverages while partaking in activities such as cornhole, live music, and even a pie-eating contest. This year’s performance schedule is detailed below:

• The McKrells – 5:30 p.m.
• Gangstagrass – 6:30 p.m.
• Travelin’ McCourys – 7:45 p.m.

Hops and Harvest Festival is free to attend and open to the public. Guests can park for free in the East Garage and the lots on Madison Avenue and Grand Street. Premium paid parking is also available in the visitor lot beneath the Empire State Plaza.
