Water main break in Rotterdam leads to road closure, boil water advisory

ROTTERDAM, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — According to 511NY, there was a water main break in Rotterdam on Route 7 causing all lanes to close. The closure ran from Altamont Avenue to Stuart Street.

The town has issued a boil water advisory for Curry Road between Altamont Avenue and Duglin Avenue as well as all of Duglin Avenue. Bring your water to a full boil for at least one minute and let it cool before using, or use bottled water certified for sale by the New York State Health Department.
