Meet the family of 8 that works at the Saratoga Race Course

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) – For one family from Brooklyn, it’s a family affair this summer at the Saratoga Race Course! Jamila Smyle, the mom of seven, worked side-by-side with her sons during the meet.

Smyle said, “It’s a lot but also I’m blessed because they’re all healthy, they’re beautiful. I can’t say it’s ever a dull moment in my house and I’m just so proud of them.”

Timothy Burnett, the eldest brother, is equally proud of his little brothers.

“I thought it was going to be hard on them and to see them come here everyday, do it on time, be here on time, I’m just honored to call them my little brothers,” he said.
