    Albany Police arrest three for alleged robbery

    ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 )– Albany Police have charged three people who allegedly tried to rob two people early Saturday morning on the 200 block of Quail Street. Police said Tyreem Gardner, 20, and Octavion Dudley, 18, and a 17-year-old were charged with one count of second-degree robbery.

    Police said Gardner, Dudley, and the 17-year-old approached a 20-year-old woman and 21-year-old man, forcibly stealing a bag from the woman. Both victims approached the suspects, who displayed a handgun, which police later identified to be a BB gun.

    After a short foot chase, police took all three into custody near Yates Street and Ontario Street, and the BB gun was located as they were apprehended. Gardner and Dudley remain in Albany County Jail pending bail, and the 17-year-old was released to his parents.
