9/10/2024: A fantastic week ahead

The latest Storm Tracker Forecast from meteorologist Matt Mackie:

Get excited – skies have cleared and the weather looks spectacular for the vast majority of the week ahead! high pressure moving in from the west will usher in consistent sunshine.

After some patchy early morning fog clears, we all see bright skies and steadily warming temperatures. Expect highs in the 70’s for those in the river valleys, and mid to upper 60’s for the high terrain.

One more potentially chilly night ahead tonight, with clearing skies and winds going calm. Most everyone will fall into the 40’s, with more patchy fog developing by daybreak.

Temperatures trend even warmer as sunshine continues through the day Wednesday – this time, we’re all in the 70’s!

Feeling more like summer for Thursday, Friday, and the weekend with highs into the low and mid 80’s. Humidity stays low for the most part – only on Friday afternoon will it be noticeable with dew points around 60, and even then it’s only ever so slightly muggy.

After a crystal clear weekend, a few clouds work their way into the mix on Monday – still, it’s a great day with likely dry conditions and highs around 80.
