    There will be an increased police presence at the Bethlehem Central School District following three threats that were made in the span of 24 hours. Also, State Police are investigating a fatal officer-involved shooting that happened on Wednesday. These stories, and more, are in your five things to know this Thursday.

    1. Third threat made against Bethlehem CSD

    The Bethlehem Central School District is facing its third threat of violence in 24 hours. School officials said the latest threat claimed gun violence on Thursday at the middle and high school.

    2. Fatal officer-involved shooting on Route 9 under investigation

    New York State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in the area of Route 9 and Driscoll Road in Saratoga Springs.

    3. Rare blue lobster found at local grocery store

    What started as an ordinary trip to the grocery store, has ended with an extraordinarily rare find. A local family saves a blue lobster from the store’s tank, sparing its life.

    4. Crews battle fire at abandoned house in Clifton Park

    Multiple crews responded to a structure fire in Clifton Park Wednesday night. It took place on Farm to Market Road.

    5. Multiple fights during first week back at Schenectady High

    City and school police officers worked together to break up multiple fights at Schenectady High School on Tuesday. This is the district’s first full week of classes.
