The Latest Storm Tracker Forecast from Meteorologists Matt Mackie & Kevin Appleby:

Happy Thursday – almost to the weekend! Another mostly sunny and comfortably warm afternoon expected regionwide. Sunny skies will persist into the weekend thanks to a blocking pattern in place – yes, a completely dry weekend from start to finish! Even though temperatures climb toward the mid 80s, humidity levels will remain held in check.

Perhaps skies take on a bit of a hazy look at times Thursday – wildfires continue to rage in the Western U.S. and Canada. Otherwise, mainly clear skies with high temperatures climbing close to 80 degrees.

Cool and comfy again overnight, but the persistent weather is gradually trending warmer. Low temperatures will be mostly in the 50s this time around, with fewer 40s outside of the mountains.

You know the deal by now – mostly sunny Friday as highs trend slightly warmer. More towns and cities reach the lower 80s.

Temperatures peak Saturday with the Tri-Cities pushing the mid 80s. Slightly lower temps expected Sunday, but a lot of areas still reach 80 during the afternoon. Both days are dry with a ton of sun!

Perhaps a few more clouds push in by the middle of next week – partly cloudy skies… We still expect dry conditions through at least next Wednesday with high temperatures slipping just a smidge…close to 80 by then. A very pleasant mid-September stretch of weather around here!
