Water repair closes part of Steadwell Avenue in Amsterdam

AMSTERDAM, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — City officials announced on Thursday that Steadwell Avenue in Amsterdam will be closed from Guy Park Avenue to Golf Course Road while crews make a water repair in the area. The closure will be in place until work is completed.

The emergency room entrance at St. Mary’s Hospital will be accessible through Guy Park Avenue. No traffic will be allowed through the work zone. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.
