    CNAs graduate from Glendale Home’s training program

    GLENVILLE, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — A new group of nursing students took the next steps in their healthcare careers. Eight certified nursing aide students graduated from Schenectady County’s Glendale Home on Thursday.

    This is the second class to graduate from the training program, which pays students while they learn. After finishing the course, they are offered a position with Glendale Home.

    This comes as New York State faces significant shortages on CNAs and other healthcare positions. According to the New York State Department of Health, New York will need 40,000 nurses by 2030 to keep up with demand.
