Schenectady Police and the Schenectady Central School District confirmed the teen is a student at Schenectady High School. The 13-year-old is accused of posting threats on TikTok which stated “I’m going to shoot up school” and “I’m going to shoot up that school.”

Detectives were alerted to the threats by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and state police. The posts were then traced back to the teen’s home in Schenectady, resulting in their arrest on October 3.
