Berne Town Board meeting canceled due to lack of members

BERNE, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — A Wednesday night board meeting in the town of Berne was canceled as they continue to look for new board members. Three of the five board members stepped down over the summer because of what one former member described as a hostile work environment.

According to the meeting minutes posted on the town’s website, their most recent meeting happened on July 10. Meetings in August and September could not be held because there were not enough members present.

The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for Oct. 30.
