The best bagel shops in the Capital Region, Hudson Valley

ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Yelp recently released an article listing the top 100 bagel shops in New York for 2024. In this article, there are mainly bagel shops from New York City, but there are also 12 shops listed from the Capital Region and the Hudson Valley.

Here are the best local bagel shops, according to Yelp:

Bear’s Cup

This Bolton Landing bagel shop ranks the highest of all the local bagel shops on the list, sitting at number 11. It can be found at 4973 Lake Shore Drive Suite 3.

Sunrise Bagel and Deli

This Kingston bagel shop was ranked 12th in the state. It can be found at 469 Albany Avenue.

The Bagel Shop and Deli

This bagel shop can be found in Middletown and was ranked 19th in the state. It is located at 351 East Main Street.

Tomi’s Bites

This Hopewell Junction bagel shop in Dutchess County ranked 24th in the state. It’s located at 415 State Route 376.

Downtown Bagels

This is the second bagel shop in Middletown on the list and it sits at 31. It’s located at 125 Dolson Avenue.

Uncommon Grounds Coffee and Tea

This bagel shop can be found at many locations in the Capital Region and beyond, but the one listed at 44th in the state is the Saratoga Springs location. It is located at 402 Broadway.

Broad Street Bagel

This Kinderhook bagel shop is listed as 47th in the state. It’s found at 1 Broad Street.

Pearl’s Bagels and Bakery

This bagel shop can be found in Albany and sits at 55 on the list. It’s located at 16 Picotte Drive.

Eastdale Avenue Bagels

Number 64 on the list is this Poughkeepsie bagel shop. It’s located at 35 Eastdale Ave North.

Rhinebeck Bagels and Cafe

This Rhinebeck bagel shop ranks 70th in the entire state. It can be found at 31 West Market Street.

The Schenectady bagel shop ranks at 75 in the state. It can be found at 1927 Curry Road.

Lox of Bagels

This Saugerties bagel shop in Ulster County sits at 80 on the list. It’s located at 3103 Route 9W.
