ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Republican Mary Beth Walsh is trying for her fifth term in the NYS Assembly. Voters in November will decide between her and democrat Joe Seeman.

Walsh, who represents the 112th district that includes Saratoga, Schenectady and Fulton Counties says affordability is one of her main issues. She points out New York is leading the nation when it comes to people leaving the state.

Walsh also has concerns about how the state will implement it’s climate change priorities. Specifically the amount of money it will costs some of the new policies.

Walsh sat down with News10’s Ryan Peterson to discuss the issues facing the district.
