Pittsfield HS closed Oct. 16-17 due to cold temperatures inside building

PITTSFIELD, Mass. ( NEWS10 ) — Pittsfield High School will be closed on Wednesday, October 16 and Thursday, October 17 because of the cold temperatures inside the building. The district said a new boiler is being installed.

A temporary boiler was set up outside the school, but the state inspector is not available to check the temporary one until Thursday.

A decision on whether classes can be held on Friday will be made on Thursday once the inspection is finished.

it's a high school, a public building... shouldn't the heat be on? Come on,seriously, you turn it on for a few minutes in the morning to warm-up the building and then shut it down
