    Granville Lighted Tractor Parade returns for seventh year

    GRANVILLE, N.Y. ( NEWS10 )– Granville officials have announced the seventh Annual Lighted Tractor Parade, which kicks off at Telescope Furniture Company at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14. Last year, over 60 tractors, ATVs, firetrucks, and more participated in the parade with over 1,000 spectators.

    Anyone interested in participating in the parade can buy a spot for $15 through Eventbrite. Several judges will choose the best float and award cash prizes, slate ornaments, trophies, gift cards, and more.

    Parade route

    • Depart from Telescope Furniture Company
    • Turn right onto Church Street/ County Route 26
    • Turn left onto Potter Avenue
    • Turn right onto Quaker Street/ State Route 149
    • Turn right onto West Main Street
    • Turn right onto Church Street
    • Turn left onto Potter Avenue
    • End at the back of Telescope Furniture Company

    Excess funds from registration will benefit Haynes House of Hope in Granville. In addition to money, the parade officials will donate cleaning and medical supplies, among other items, to hospice residents.

    Before the parade, spectators and their families can participate in a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus, crafts, and food trucks on Main Street. Anyone with questions about registering for the parade can email GranvilleLightedTractorParade@gmail.com or call Krystle Morey at (518) 701-0490.
