Last winter was Winter’s Dream first year in Lake George. In June, Sam Luciano, the general manager of Fort William Henry, told NEWS10 that Winter’s Dream was planning on returning this winter .

“We will use the extra time to make the return of Winter’s Dream all that it should be,” said Luciano. “While the Coalition does this work, we will be returning the $400,000 the Board recently appropriated for Winter’s Dream to the county occupancy tax fund balance where it belongs, and where it can be used to support other important tourism initiatives.”

“Last season marked a magical beginning for Winter’s Dream, receiving a great reception from visitors,” said Moment Factory. “We are committed to the success of this experience and support the Winter Coalition’s decision to schedule the next edition for November 2025.”

Winter Realms, an event featuring ice skating, sculptures, and Santa Claus in Charles R. Wood Park, also announced in June that it would not be returning to Lake George this winter. Ice Castles, which produced the event, told NEWS10 that warmer temperatures was a factor for not returning.
