On July 13 at 10 p.m ., South Glens Falls Police responded to the parking lot of Lake George Residence Inn on Saratoga Road following the report of a disturbance involving a gun. The investigation determined that Donald Tomlinson, 42, allegedly brandished a loaded handgun while in a dispute with someone he knew, reportedly waving the gun at the 47-year-old victim and stating he was going to kill the man.

Tomlinson was taken into custody after police interviewed the victim and other witnesses. Shortly thereafter, Hagadorn was arrested after the investigation revealed that she had allegedly hidden the handgun in her room at the hotel, reportedly attempting to prevent police from finding the weapon.
