A new, permanent boiler is in the process of being installed. The state inspector was not available to check the temporary one until Thursday, which prompted the district to cancel classes.

Students and staff are encouraged to wear warm clothing on Friday as the building continues to warm up.

So much money wasted on keeping this building running. Should have made the newer Taconic big enough to educate all hs students in this city. reasons to have 2 schools = reasons to close one in a city this size. Pittsfield will never learn.
