Irmo knows the problem is infrastructure and many of us have complained until we can’t anymore. Traffic now cuts through my neighborhood every morning and I can’t even get out of my driveway to take my kid to school. They refuse to put in speed bumps and we have cars racing at 60 plus mph through our neighborhood just to get from #6 to Broad River. I had a car lose control and almost come through my living room 2 years ago. They want to build all this crap everywhere but don’t want us to complain about traffic. I’ve been in Irmo for 22 years and the local government is shady af, from the police to the mayor. Shady. Shady. Shady.
