Adoption event brings together puppies and potential families at Viroqua store

VIROQUA, Wis. (WKBT) -- Sunset Seniors orchestrated a heartwarming adoption event at the Viroqua Tractor Supply.

The organization, which typically specializes in senior dogs, is shifting their focus today to promote themselves while finding forever homes for nine puppies.

Their mission is to provide for the less adoptable dogs.

The Executive Director of Sunset Seniors says every dog deserves a home.

"A lot of people forget about the senior dogs. Say what happens if your family members goes into a nurse home? What happens to their pets?" said Amber Ghelf.

She adds it is great the see the dogs interact with different people.
