    Power outages remain in Coulee Region; cleanup efforts begin

    LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- Several hundreds are still without power this morning as residents begin to clean up debris from last night's powerful storms.

    There are roughly 80 power outages still listed on Xcel energy's power outage map just between Eau Claire and La Crosse.

    According to MiEnergy in Minnesota, everything is back online as of 4:00 a.m. MiEnergy reported approximately 1,700 outages last night.

    As residents begin cleanup, the City of La Crosse announced the yard waste and brush site located on Isle La Plume will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

    The brush site will accept branches less than 8 inches in diameter. Logs, tree trunks and stumps must be taken to the La Crosse County landfill on Hwy 16.
