    Isle La Plume yard waste and brush site temporarily open

    Yard Waste And Brush Site Temporarily Open

    LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- The Isle La Plume yard waste and brush site is open Wednesday and Thursday because of Tuesday night's high winds.

    According to the City of La Crosse, residents can drop off brush from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on either day.

    Only branches that are less than 8 inches in diameter count as brush.

    Logs, tree trunks, and stumps must be taken to the La Crosse County Landfill on State Highway 16.

    After the yard waste and brush site closes Wednesday, it will not reopen until Tuesday, May 28.

    If there is an issue with a boulevard tree, call the Parks and Forestry Department at (608) 789-7533.
