Tribute event honors Apache Blues survivors

ONTARIO, Wis. (WKBT) -- The "Apache Blues," comprised of 18 courageous individuals, confronted an ambush by hundreds of enemy fighters during the tumultuous events of 1969 in the heart of the Vietnam War.

Throughout hours of relentless battle, every single member displayed remarkable resilience, successfully repelling the enemy onslaught and emerging victorious.

Dan Kouba, the esteemed composer behind the soundtrack of "Apache Blues," humbly expressed his profound gratitude for the presence of the search and rescue team members at the event.

"I feel immensely blessed by their appreciation for the film," said Dan Kouba, a seasoned musical composer.

The celebration boasted live performances by talented bands and garnered participation from numerous esteemed veteran organizations.
