One killed, two injured in Wood County crash

TOWNSHIP OF MILLADORE, Wis. (WKBT) -- A 60-year-old Wausau man is dead following a crash in Wood County Thursday night.

The crash happened shortly after 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 10 and Highway N in the Township of Milladore.

According to investigators, a vehicle headed north on Highway N did not yield the right of way at a stop sign. An east bound motorcycle crashed into that vehicle, killing the motorcycle's driver and injuring a passenger.

The motorcycle's driver was identified as 60-year-old Alonzo Dvorak of Wausau. His passenger, 57-year-old Monica Dvorak was taken to the hospital via Lifelink.

The vehicle's driver, 86-year-old Marlene Furo of Junction City, Wisconsin was taken to the hospital in a personal vehicle.

The crash is under investigation by the Wood County Sheriff's Office and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
