Warm temperatures last through Monday

WH AT WE A RE T RACKIN G: Above average temperatures and mostly dry conditions continue through Monday until we drop to near normal highs (upper-60s and low-70s) for the rest of the week.

NEXT 24 HRS: River Valley fog is expected once again Sunday morning. Otherwise, it will be another warm day to finish the weekend with highs in the low-80s and plenty of sunshine. Get out side and enjoy what could potentially be one of our last days in the 80s for the rest of the year!

L OOKING AHEAD: Monday will be the last summer-like day with highs in the low-80s. By Monday evening, a cold front will begin to pass over the area, bringing in a much cooler air mass. While we aren’t tracking any rain chances in our area with this frontal passage, T uesday’s highs will be greatly impacted . Expect highs to only reach the mid-60s across the area. W hile this might feel a bit chilly after our warmer stretch, this will only be a few degrees below normal. For the rest of the week , mostly dry conditions will be accompanied by near normal highs in the low-70s. Breezier conditions will start to kick up by Monday and may last through the week with 10-15 mph sustained winds that could gust near 25 mph.
