Plenty of sunshine and comfortable conditions ahead

WHAT WE ARE TRACKING: Sunny and warm conditions will finish out the weekend for Sunday. Expect high temperatures to stay near average in the low to mid-80s.

NEXT 24 HRS: Sunday looks to be the perfect end to the weekend with sunny skies returning and high temps staying near average (80-84 degrees). Lower lying areas and river valleys may come across some patchy fog in the early morning; however, this this dissipate by the late morning hours. Winds will be out the north blowing at 5-10 mph with the slight chance of a few gusts near 15 mph.

LOOKING AHEAD: The wo rk week ahead will be quiet in the weather world thanks to an upper-level ridge positioning over our area for much of the week. High temps will stay around average ; e xpect most days to top out in the low-80s. We will also see an abundance of sunshine for much of the week, resul ting in a slight chance for pop up showers or thunderstorms in afternoon and evening hours. Nevertheless, rain chances will remain low at 10-20% for most day s next week.
