    Draw Alive Exhibit

LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- A new exhibit at the Children's Museum of La Crosse is bringing artwork to life.

Draw Alive is a program that blends technology with art. Children create images through a variety of drawing templates and then see them turn into animations on a display screen.

There are 13 drawing themes to choose from including farm animals, ocean life and jungle animals.

The kids color a template with a QR code and then scan their drawing and see it come alive.

The museum's principal of fun says this new exhibit is a great blend of what the Children's Museum does best.

"It's a combination of learning and fun, it's an opportunity for choice and control and creativity and different exposure to different things and maybe learn about different animals that you read about in books but haven't gotten a chance to see," says Ellen Palmer, director of fun at Children's Museum of La Crosse.

Draw Alive is currently a temporary exhibit until they find a permanent spot for it at the museum. You can find out its hours of operation on the Children Museum's social media pages and website .
