Another round of scattered showers on Saturday; drier and warmer on Sunday

WHAT WE ARE TRACKING: Daily/evening showers and a few storms will continue through Saturday before dry and warmer conditions return for Sunday and Monday.

NEXT 24 HRS: Although extensive low cloud cover is expected Saturday morning, partial clearing is likely for some areas by Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, areas north of Eau Claire may have overcast conditions all day. With the low pressures spinning in nearby Michigan, another round of showers is expected, albeit with less coverage/chances than on Friday. High temperatures will generally be in the 70s to around 80.  Showers will diminish by 9 or 10 pm with mostly clear skies thereafter.

LOOKING AHEAD: Dry conditions are expected through next week, with high temperatures fluctuating around the average (upper 70s to middle 80s). Daily morning fog is also possible during the period. The pattern begins to turn by the weekend as the winds aloft turn more southwesterly, resulting in above average temperatures for the weekend and the start of the following work week (low to middle 80s). Dry conditions look to continue through this period.
