    Sewer replacement work will close a block of George Street for a week

    LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- A block of George Street on La Crosse's north side will be closed for a full week.

    Beginning Monday, the block of George Street between Cunningham and Palace Streets will close for sewer replacement work.

    The project is expected to finish on Friday of that week.

    According to the City of La Crosse's notification, detours will be posted.
