First Big River Rally revs up motorcycle enthusiasts in La Crosse

LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- If you passed by the fest grounds this evening, you likely noticed a motorcycle extravaganza.

The first Big River Rally kicked off on Friday, providing a weekend of fun for motorcycle enthusiasts.

Attendees had the chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the coulee region with a 50-mile loop along the Mississippi River.

On Saturday, bikers departed for over a 100-mile ride with stops to enjoy local food, beverages, and views.

"Bringing this to La Crosse and to this area was our hope. People coming from all over to get to know our area and hopefully return, because they're like 'Wow, that was really beautiful.' That was kind of the inspiration for this," said Operations Manager Jean Taylor.

Officials hope this can become an annual event in La Crosse. There was plenty of fun, including live music and a bike show.
