West Salem pulls away in the second half to defeat Onalaska 27-7

Onalaska hosted West Salem for week 1 of the WIAA football season.

Onalaska would lead 7 to 6 at the half.

In the second half, West Salem would get things started as Luke Baginski would set the Panthers up inside the 5 yard line. Then Trevor Arentz would take it in for the score as the Panthers took a 14-7 lead.

In the fourth quarter, Onalaska was in need of a top, but Baginski would break free for a 50 yard touchdown run to put West Salem up 20-7.

The Panthers would go on to win 27-7.
