Annual Children's Festival in Myrick Park celebrates family fun

LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- It was a special day for children and families across La Crosse.

The Parenting Place hosted its 34th Annual Children's Festival at Myrick Park.

This event offered a wonderful opportunity for parents and kids to disconnect from daily distractions and immerse themselves in quality family time.

From engaging arts and crafts to an exciting adventure playground, the festival featured a variety of activities designed to help children thrive and enjoy every moment.

"It's all about what we can do as adults to create the environment where children can thrive," said Jodi Widuch, executive director of the Parenting Place.

Officials anticipated a turnout of around 1,000 people, including both parents and children.
