Two vehicles collide in Stoddard causing lane closure for several hours

STODDARD, Wis (WKBT) -- On Friday, a crash between two cars occurred in rural Stoddard in the town of Bergen.

Vernon County Sheriff's Office said the accident happened around 3:00 pm when 63-year-old Andre Rasulius, who was traveling on state highway 35 vehicle crossed over into the opposite lane striking 26-year-old Alysonn Frey's car head-on.

Frey was taken to the hospital and later on released. While Rasulius refused medical treatment.

Traffic was reduced to one lane until the scene was cleared at approximately 5:30 p.m.
