New Mayo Health Clinic System hospital in La Crosse

LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- Mayo Clinic leaders and community officials celebrated the completion of a new Mayo Clinic Health System hospital in La Crosse with an open house on Sunday.

Patient comfort and safety are top priorities for the new $215 million project.

The new hospital is six levels with 96 beds.

Inpatient rooms are spacious and utilize natural light to support a healing environment.

The new hospital includes cardiac care, radiology, medical surgical units, intensive care, birth centers, and more.

The buildings design supports care team collaboration and helps patients receives the care they need in person and across digital platforms.

"Our staff delvers excellent care to our community, now they will have an absolutely beautiful new facility to take care of our patients," said Regional Chair of Administration Tanner Holst.
