Significant cool down for Sunday

WH AT WE A RE T RAC K IN G: Breezy conditions will take over the weekend period along with a chance of showers and thunderstorms Saturday evening.

NEXT 24 HRS: High temperatures will be much cooler going into Sunday, with many of us staying in the low to mid-60s. Although it will be significantly cooler, the sun will be out and shining bright for much of the day. Winds will have shifted to be out of the northwest, blowing at 10-15 mph. Gusts could be strong again, reaching nearly 30 mph.

LOOKING AHEAD: C onditions look mild for the upcoming work week. Expect temperatures to gradually warm, starting in the upper-60 s on Monday and possibly warming to the 80s again by next weekend. Little to no rain chances occur throughout the entire week with much lighter winds.

SEPTEMB ER NUMBERS & LOOKING AHEAD TO OCTOBER

Overall September ended drier and warmer than average across most of the region.  In fact, La Crosse had it's 8th warmest September on average. Average high and low temperatures continue to fall in October with all locations seeing average high temperatures in the 50s for the second half of the month.
