Not guilty pleas entered for attempted homicide suspect after bar shooting

ALMA, Wis. (WKBT) -- On Wednesday, 40-year-old Damien Winn appeared in Buffalo County court for his arraignment, at which his attorney entered not guilty pleas to all charges.

Winn is accused of shooting a man at George's Lounge in Fountain City

His next court date is scheduled for Sept.18.

ALMA, Wis. (WKBT) -- A man accused of attempted homicide made his initial appearance in court Friday.

39-year-old Damien Winn is accused of shooting a man at George's Lounge , a bar in Fountain City, Wisconsin in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The victim in that incident was transported to a Winona hospital with life-threatening injuries.

According to the criminal complaint, eyewitnesses told police there was no arguing, yelling or fighting before the shooting happened.

Police arrested Winn in Winona, Minnesota on Saturday.

Winn faces five counts including attempted 1st degree intentional homicide, 1st degree recklessly endangering safety, and felony firearm possession.

A Buffalo County judge ordered a $250,000 cash bond. Winn's next court appearance is May 22.
