JD Vance makes campaign stop at De Pere Airport

DE PERE, Wis. (WKBT) -- On a campaign stop Wednesday, Vice President nominee and Ohio Senator JD Vance visited the Amerilux International Airport in De Pere.

During his speech, Vance discussed issues such as immigration on the southern border, the economy and inflation, while also criticizing Kamala Harris and her role in the Biden administration.

Vance also echoed Donald Trump's stance on abortion laws, saying the decision should be left up to the states.

"Well, what I want to see happen with abortion is that each state, and this is President Trump's view to be clear, each state ought to make their own abortion laws. Wisconsin is going to have a different view than California. California is going to have a different view from Alabama. And what the president has been very clear about is he wants the voters to make those decisions in each individual state," said Vance.

This visit marked JD Vance's fourth trip to the Battleground State within the last 21 days.
