Kiwanis Club of La Crosse celebrates 50 years of "Day of Fun for Everyone"

LA CROSSE (WKBT)-- The Kiwanis Club of La Crosse's is celebrating 50 years of one of its events.

Folks stopped by Trane Park for food, games and prizes. The organization raises money to help kids. Aquinas High school senior John Kearney has been volunteering at "Day of fun for Everyone" since he was a freshman.

"I think what keeps me coming back is knowing that I've made an impact on helping others and helping them have a fun day and giving them a good reason to come back," Kearney says.

He adds one of his favorite memories was taking a hayride at Copeland Park and meeting new people there.
