Guided Mushroom Foray brings education on mushrooms to Vernon County

READSTOWN, Wis (WKBT)-- The Mississippi Valley Conservancy is teaching people more about mushrooms.

Landowner and board member Fred Koerschner had people on his property in

Readstown today for its Guided Mushroom Foray. Every year, the organization has the activity to teach folks more about mushrooms growing in the area.

Koerschner says its critical, so people know what mushrooms are edible and not edible. His favorite part is seeing the people.

"I think all the people I meet and all the things I learn when I participate," he said.
