Fire destroys workshop in Buffalo County

TOWN OF NELSON, Wis. (WKBT) -- A workshop in the Township of Nelson is considered a total loss following a structure fire.

According to a release, the Buffalo County Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a structure fire on Mike Varenick Rd Thursday night.

When emergency crews arrived, they found a large workshop on fire that was located between two other buildings. Fire crews were able to prevent the fire from spreading, however, the structures sustained heat damage. The Sheriff's Office said the workshop was a total loss.

There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
