    Search underway for Winona man missing in Yellowstone National Park

    PARK COUNTY, WYO. (WKBT) -- Authorities in Wyoming are searching for a missing Winona man who was last heard from at Yellowstone State Park.

    According to a National Park Service (NPS) release , 22-year-old Austin King was last heard from while at the summit of Eagle Peak in the park's southwest corner on Tuesday, Sept. 17th.

    King is described as being 6 feet tall, weight 150 pounds, having brown hair, hazel eyes, and wearing a black sweatshirt, gray pants, dark colored backpack, and glasses.

    The NPS says that crews consisting of 85 personnel, two helicopters, a search dog team, and drones, have been searching for King since Saturday, Sept. 21st.

    This comes as searchers report 6 feet of snow and ice on Eagle Peak.

    The NPS is asking anyone with information regarding King's whereabouts to call the Yellowstone Communications Center at (307)-344-2643.
