Caledonia shuts out La Crescent for homecoming victory

The Caledonia Warriors hosted the La Crescent-Hokah Lancers for an MSHSL football matchup.

It was Homecoming day for the Warriors and during halftime, the football community honored Ernie Hodges for all his hard work and dedication to the program. Hodges is taking a step back from his daily involvement, but Coach Fruechte wanted to honor him for his time as the Strength Coach. Coach Fruechte was brought to tears when talking about Hodges saying that the program wouldn't be the same without him.

During the game, the Warriors would bring the energy taking an early lead as Ethan Stendel would connect with Ethan Myhre for touchdown.

Later in the half, Stendel would go deep down field connecting with Will Allen for the long touchdown.

Stendel would then take it himself for the score before the half as Caledonia would go on to win 28-0.
